Looks good unless using bags

My first impressions upon unboxing were positive. The fabric feels nice, there is nothing in the pockets, the vest wears well and looks a little fitted. It turned out to be a bit heavier than I expected, I have another multi pocket vest that has more mesh and less fabric. I think it will be too hot to wear in warm season and I will wear my down vest in autumn. However, the real downside of this vest is the location, size and shape of the pockets. And the bags interest me the most. I love breast pockets and often have to order the men's version of a garment to get them. Ideally, there should be at least one upper breast pocket inside, in which I prefer to stow my wallet to be on the safe side, but no inner pockets at chest level. An internal RFID pocket sits underneath and inside another pocket, making it difficult to get your wallet in and out. I love the outer chest pockets for quick access to things like car keys or loose change, but the two pockets you see in the picture are an inch or two below my body. The fit might work better for a tall woman but not for someone who is 5ft 5in tall. I also want these pockets to open at the top instead of the sides so things aren't as easy to fall out. Really big inside pocket nice and spacious inside. I gave it a try and managed to fit an iPad in it, although the vest was so heavy and hung awkwardly down that side that I couldn't imagine ever wearing it to carry an iPad around. This large pocket was also on the same side as the outside looped water bottle pocket, which means anything large you want to carry inside has to be on the same side as the water bottle, giving things an uneven balance leads two sides. As soon as you put something in one of the inside pockets, the vest's neat look disappears and you just look awkward. Bottom line, it just didn't work for me.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Clearly bad product
