Review on π Todiys New 50 Pairs TO-92 NPN Transistor: 50Pcs 2N3904 + 50Pcs 2N3906, 3904 3906 2N-3906 by David Reyes
In my application everything seems to be working.
Nice to have both NPN and PNP in one purchase. 3904 and 3906 are proven transistors. So far I've used about a dozen of these PNPs and about 1/2 dozen of these NPNs and they all seem to work. I use them in a 24 volt digital control circuit for my lathe. Therefore I did not test their linear behavior. Haven't seen any problems with them.
