After conversion it works great!
I bought these for my 35 year old Dressmaker sewing machine. It snapped easily but didn't fit my needle. I attached the foot to a piece of wood and used a 3/32" cobalt bit to drill through the gap for my needle. It was very easy to drill and only took a few minutes. Now it works great! It's that easy to line up my fabric and I don't have to worry about a needle breaking.
