We bought two of these for the kids for Christmas. One came with a DOA remote and Revain swapped it out on the fly with no issues. My 12 year old son and husband have quirky custom radio controlled things. So we hesitate to ever buy cheap radio controlled things. But the 4- and 8-year-olds wanted the pushers, although we doubted they would retain their interest. So we didn't want to waste a pack. It was an unexpected joy. We first got a different brand for a 4 year old and when we tested it before Christmas it was rubbish. However, this one will climb over the piles of laundry inside, piles of dirt and bricks, boom-boom-boom happily down the stairs, somersaults at the end, and carry on. Two little kids LOVE YOU. Dogs love to chase them and the biggest problem we have with them is a 12 year old kid steals them. I am very happy with the price of their durability and climbing ability. They don't cost more than $200, but they're great for those on a budget or when you don't know the interest will last.
