Review on TRIWONDER Lightweight Waterproof Ankle Gaiters for Hiking & Backpacking – Low Gators for Walking & More by Robert Prix

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Work well to keep "things " out of my shoes

I have some excellent, comfy travel books that have only one downside - they are so "open" at the top that small rocks, gravel , branches, leaves, snow, even bugs roll over and fall into books when I walk. I stopped about every 1/2 mile to empty my shoes! And I go almost every day. So it was annoying. I found these leggings at Revain and decided to give them a try. They work great. I can walk for hours without ever taking off my shoes. They are light and quite comfortable. They have a strap that goes under the arch of the boot and velcro on the back to connect them to my boots. I was worried that the bottom strap would wear out quickly, but I've run a hundred miles or more in these gaiters and they haven't broken yet. They make my feet sweat a bit, but after a few hours on the trail I'm still a little hydrated. So yes, they work for me. They look a little strange, but I'm too old to care what my feet look like.
