My skin is a mixture, and it has a tendency to be oily. I believe that it can make dry skin more drier. It was difficult for me to squeeze out the appropriate amount of gel from the tube, especially when it was getting low on product. I found the tube to be inconvenient. If you don't make sure the lid is on properly, it will drip. An excellent product overall, provided that it is utilized inconsistently and not on skin that is dry.
