I love being outside and one of my favorite things to do is run a few miles to work out. On bright sunny days sometimes a pair of sunglasses just isn't enough to keep the bright sunlight out of my eyes and this hat keeps me comfortable. I'm also on the higher side, passing under some trees that really need better pruning as I have to crouch at times to keep the leaves from touching my head. My hat also potentially keeps my head clean. Furthermore, I really love this hat. It's comfortable to wear and suits me well. It really is everything I hoped it would be.
