I am so happy with this dog coat. I've noticed that my new rescue dog seems to really hate cold weather so I thought I'd buy him a coat. He has a very long body and big chest and is very small, like a Beagle/Basset mix, so I was concerned about the size. After looking at the size chart and reading the reviews I ordered size 2XL for him and it fits him very well. He weighs about 43 pounds with a 26 inch chest and 17 inch neck. The outer material is very nice and I love that there is a built in hanger and that I can zip the collar around his neck to keep the snow out in winter. The main reason I chose this coat was that it zips up the dog's back instead of the bottom. It's really easy to put on and feels comfortable and doesn't try to take it off. Haven't used the leg straps yet because I want him to get used to the coat first but I like having them as an option and they are adjustable which is great. The inside of the coat is made of pleasantly warm fleece. I am very happy with my dog's new coat!
