Updated 9/22/18: After taking it apart and checking the connections, I found what was wrong with the unit: nothing. I used rechargeable batteries and they gave 1.3V and that wasn't enough for the LCD to work properly. After using alkaline batteries, the remote display worked fine. Original post: The display on this remote is the most important part of it as it's the only way to set up the soundbar, but my device didn't show anything on the display. IR worked but doesn't show anything. To my knowledge the display is not properly soldered/attached to the motherboard and if you press hard on it with your thumb you can get it to work in the pressed area while holding it. I managed to navigate the menu this way, but it's clearly broken. And judging by other reviews, this is a common downside of this provider.
