I don't expect a $22 backpack to be a lifetime investment. I was expecting it to be a great way to carry a lot of things hands-free when I need them and also use it as a wallet. And have fun with it! what exactly did i get I love this bag, the burgundy is great and the storage is great for me. (NOTE BELOW) a The external pockets are my favorite and this fills the bill. I recently went down a slide in the park with my granddaughter with a big sack on my shoulder and felt totally ridiculous. 🤦‍♀️ I went straight home and looked for a small backpack under $25 at Revain and this one sold me. It is very nicely made, has a lot of storage space, can be taken anywhere and looks appropriate: in the park, in the church, in the store. I like the way the straps are arranged, sometimes backpacks slip off the back and look awkward. It's thin and secure. Folding the straps to the side to get at things is not a problem. All my quick access items are stowed in the outside pockets anyway. Yes, the teddy bear is quirky, but he's a little treasure for my granddaughter. I'm very glad I took it! I can also get a different color. NOTE/EDIT: After a few weeks of use, I took off a star because the outside zippered pockets are so small. They are comfortable but so small that not much fits in. Deeper zip pockets will go a long way in this bag. I still love him in every other way, but that's a bit frustrating.
