Useful, cheap. Doesn't account for slight lens distortion very accurately.

You get what you pay for. The variable part of the filter seems a little loose, and the numbers on the ring help you find the right position, well, they don't mean anything. I've compared to my other filters and they don't match. Also, I get a lot of lens distortion the darker I get. It is difficult to take a clear picture when the zoom is set to full zoom. Otherwise it works fine. I've used high quality variable filters in the past and they work much better than this one. You get what you pay for.
