Review on C Shaped Inverted Umbrella, Waterproof and Windproof by Heather Aragon

I'm really surprised at the many positive reviews and I should have paid more attention to one star reviews as it would have saved me quite a bit of bother doing this Finding pattern I like and the time spent trying on the item and then sending it back. How this umbrella has so many one star reviews I don't understand and all I can think of is that the positive reviews are from people who never use an umbrella in real life situations. Because frankly, it's absolute rubbish. I'm photosensitive so it's imperative that I'm protected from the sun, lousy umbrellas can burn your skin in under 5 minutes of sun exposure. And here the umbrella failed terribly. The first day, on a beautiful sunny day, I had to abandon the hike because the umbrella wasn't working properly. There was a very light wind (probably looks worse than the video due to the poor quality of the umbrella) and I spent more time getting the umbrella to work than hiking. Once the umbrella was easy and successful, and the other times I had trouble with the button/springs and had to use force to close or open it. Then the ribs of the umbrella bent so easily with the slightest gust of wind that it was impractical to use it as a parasol. To clarify, the wind speed the day I tried to use the umbrella was less than 5 mph and the umbrella couldn't handle it. It is impractical never to blow even on the best of days. And then the canopy. Yes beautiful, although the design is not at all the same as the picture I ordered - double layered, with holes. Even the slightest breeze here, and the two-layer dome lets the wind in and worsens the overall situation. Very bad design. You can practically only use an umbrella indoors (I think opening an umbrella indoors is bad luck if you believe in such things), and only if you can get feathers that allow it to open/close. Less than two days, I sent it back. I can't afford to risk the sun with a broken umbrella.
