Exactly what I was looking for. I have several identical reading glasses at home and they all have temples that irritate my ears. I like the glasses I have because they are well made and have glass lenses which I prefer. But unfortunately they have those thin, sharp shanks in the temple area that I find a little noticeable even on very expensive glasses. I'm actually used to wearing them tilted forward to keep the temples from falling off my ears because the irritation gets so bad sometimes. When I first looked at these protectors here at Revain I was surprised at how expensive they are. 7 or 8 dollars for a set. There were 3 sets for about the same price and I chose them because of the reasonable price and the generally positive reviews. they are perfect just the way they are. Although the hole on them is very small, it's also a very flexible silicone and I had no trouble installing them. Once you fire them, they're easy to squeeze and position. They do not slip when removing the glasses and do not slip when putting them on. Comfort wise they are the perfect protection against the irritations I have experienced. Exactly what I wanted, exactly where I needed it. And with three in a set, I can buy more and complete all my glasses for a very reasonable price. In summary, glasses can vary greatly in thickness and temple design in the temple area. You might be unlucky that they fit perfectly over them like mine. However, this problem is easily solved by simply cutting off what you don't need, like others have done here. Even with a small amount of these adjustments, they make a big difference in the comfort around your ears. I have no idea how long they'll last, but it should be a very reasonable amount of time considering they don't irritate much anyway, and they're cheap enough to always have a few on hand. This is not a problem. This is one of the best deals in the area and I would highly recommend it.
