I wasn't expecting much for $30, but I'd say it's about as good as the $190 original equipment cost VW quoted me Has. I bought a used 2011 VW Jetta TDI from a local VW dealer and the gear knob was missing the top half, cheap bastards couldn't replace it as they sold the car 'as is'. It took no more than 5 minutes to pull out the old replacement boot and put this in and most of the time was spent looking for a crimping tool to cover the new ring on the new boot to hold it in place. Perfect fit for my 2011 VW Jetta TDI. It took about 3 weeks to arrive.
