Very good quality watch strap, the leather is elastic, not hard. Some of the straps I've bought in the past have been very stiff and took a while to adjust to my wrist. This band is thick enough to be strong yet soft and comfortable. Red patent leather is a beautiful shade. I love leather watch straps and they take a lot of wear and tear. This one looks like it will last but I ordered two more at their reasonable price knowing I'd want the same again when I wore this one out.
