Small and difficult to assemble

First off, let me say that I've collected my fair share of cat towers in the past, so I figured it wouldn't last long since it's half the size of another tower I've owned. I wanted it to be a little lower than the huge ones we have here. Unfortunately, not only is it smaller than I thought it would be, it also turned out to be the most difficult thing I've ever put together. Just by looking at the directions, I knew I needed help. The image above shows all the recommendations you will receive. While I understand that having no words in the instructions may seem like a good idea, it really isn't. It took us two and a half hours to set it up. When we tried to install the ladder we just had to give up. As soon as I put it together I realized how small it really is. The cat in the picture is of course a big boy, but I didn't expect him to become a dwarf. This tower is much better suited for small to medium sized cats. Our boy weighs 18 pounds and is too big for him. It's well made, albeit with quality parts. I'm not sure I'd recommend this tower unless you have small cats and don't mind a little disappointment in assembly.
