Review on Castrol 21898 Syntrans Transaxle 75W 90 by Janis Gailitis ᠌

I decided to change the oil in the VAZ box on Vesta filled in at the factory, I didn’t like how the gears were switched on at all. Chose between Castrol and Shel. Castrol lost its reputation after using Magnatec in an engine. The rings coked and stuck. I read a lot of reviews and other materials. Still chose Castrol GL-4+. There are improvements in the operation of the checkpoint. I wouldn't say significant, but very noticeable. Steel gears will turn on easier and softer. The noise when coasting with the gear turned on became quieter (noticeable in 2nd gear). In general, expectations were practically justified. I don’t know how much the replacement will affect the increase (I would like) of the gearbox resource. Is it worth 3 tr? I think yes.
