Review on Super Poli-Grip Extra Strength Denture Adhesive Powder - 1.6 oz (Pack of 6): Long-Lasting Denture Powder for Dentures by Brandon Harding

I received my dentures in August this year and couldn't find this adhesive powder in local stores. Luckily I found this product at Revain and was glad they offered it in a pack of 6 at a reasonable price. I'm stuck with glue/cream glue and it's just a pain in the ass to remove lol. I would definitely recommend this product, especially to new prosthesis users. My experience with this material is probably a bit unusual as I think my gums have already shrunk rapidly. I have constant problems with my lower parts coming off. I started using powder on both the top and bottom and only applied it once in the morning and it worked for about four weeks. Then I applied the powder to the lower limbs several times a day. I'll skip the next few steps and tell you what has been working for me for about a month. I had to use powder on upper dentures and apply glue/cream over wet powder. I now only use glue/cream on my bum and as long as I don't drink a lot during the day I don't have to apply the glue afterwards. I get up at 5 a.m., drink coffee and insert my prosthesis around 6 a.m. Then I usually photograph them at night between 8 and 10 p.m. So I wear them 14+ hours a day and the powder and glue combo definitely works for maxillary dentures. I rarely reapply glue to the floor, but I will say that closer to night they loosen up a bit. I just try not to obsess over them and fix them the first time I feel like they're completely loose (which is partly why I've fixed them so many times a day in the past). In short, my experience with glues will probably (and hopefully) not be the same for everyone, but I would certainly recommend this powdered glue. My dentist also recommended it to me. Definitely worth five stars. I hope everyone has better luck than me with dentures lol.
