**UPDATE** Frame cracked at center joint, collapsed while my kitty slept. See image. Cannot be replaced with PVC because the pipe width is not standard. I bought a 3/4" wide wooden dowel that fits snugly inside the pipe. It removes the center joint and pipe sections with tape to the full length of the dowel. Should fix and prevent further problems. The cats love it and I would do anything for they do.Will update if that doesn't work.First review: Cats loved it so much I turned around and bought another one even though the price has gone up.My plump British Shorthair spends most of the day on it and will you are protecting three siblings.I recommend taking one of those chenille bathmats, folding it in half and laying it on top of the mesh hammock cover: so soft and comfortable, cats can't stop scratching happily.be useless.
