They are supplied in a pack of three. After opening the main packaging, they are packed in individual packages. It's good. As you can see from the blue fabric they are thin but seem very durable. I read a comment from someone who said they were too soft. To each their own, but in my opinion they're definitely rough enough to flake off. Haven't used it yet to see if it holds foam. I could be wrong but there is nothing on the rag to absorb the soap. I will edit this review as soon as I know. I brought this because I have limited movement in both shoulders so I need something long enough to grip my back. I brought a countryman's linen and it works great BUT it's small so out of reach for my back. After the first use, I found that it holds up soapy water. It stretches a little and, as mentioned, is rough enough to flake off. If you need more than that, I suggest you spend your money on a box of glitter pads instead. I am completely satisfied
