Review on Remington NE3845A Nose, Ear & Detail Trimmer - CleanBoost Technology, Black by Jessica Frederick

One of the few working nose hair trimmers

If you are reading this review you have searched the world for a nose hair trimmer that actually works. I've tried several. I used a metal hand trimmer which was good quality and worked, but didn't completely remove unsightly hairs from any angle. I've used power trimmers like the Panasonic and they seemed to work well but still left hair in certain areas. Mostly I used trimmers to get the center of the target and then other trimmers and scissors to get the edges. Even then it seemed impossible to achieve the desired efficiency. If you have mild obsessive-compulsive disorder, it can drive you insane. The Remington trimmer feels solid in the hand but has a unique trimmer head. A person can tilt the trimmer so that the center and sides are almost perfect. Now the trimmer cuts the hair close, but not quite close to the skin. However, it will be effective for about a week. After use, the user will rarely, if ever, see the hairs left behind on the soleplate, unlike the Panasonic manual or metal versions. The trimmer needs cleaning, so I recommend putting a small drop of oil on the blade after washing it and running it. Make sure you lift the head off the trimmer with a single thumb press when washing. Turn the bottom base clockwise to turn on. Sometimes it seems that the trimmer is stuck or not working, just disconnect the head from the device with your thumb and turn it on. I have a 5 star product because it works for comparison. It is not expensive and cannot last more than a year. But it works. And if necessary, I would buy another one, because these devices are relatively cheap.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
