In my opinion the installation is much better than OEM
I like this idea for its affordability, functionality and simplicity. Literally disconnect the stock taillight harness and plug in the diode speaker harness. There's even a little room to hide resistors to keep it from rattling without the turn signal LED flashing excessively. Overall, I'm really impressed with the result. Such a more innovative idea for an already impressive LED taillight. That's how it should be from the factory.
