I prefer 6500k indirect lighting in my office and until recently used a pair of clamp lights on a gooseneck aimed at the wall behind my monitors. This was an effective but inelegant solution. In search of a nicer solution, I briefly considered making my own tube lights out of clear, rigid tubes and LED strips. That's when I came across these lamps. These lanterns are indeed a much prettier version of what I wanted to build. They put out _a lot_ of light evenly and are small enough to fit on the back of one of my wall monitors. Two of these small 2ft long lights give off just enough light to give the impression my office has natural daylight without glare from direct light which is pretty much what I was looking for. Excellent purchase.
