I've noticed that my lower back starts to hurt after riding. Same after lifting weights. So I bought this belt knowing I was looking for something stretchy enough not to compress the nerves in my lower back but firm enough to hold my pants up. It was the perfect solution. Please note that its design cannot be described as "fashionable" but rather as "utilitarian". Good to wear over a shirt or with work clothes. I might change the ending to make it more like a language. As long as the edge is fused back together, you should be fine.
