I was looking for something 1) Lightweight 2) Strong 3) Wide enough to be comfortable 4) Height adjustable 5) Laptop platform with raised corners (with an edge to prevent slipping prevent) 6) Most importantly vents. It fit in every way and the first time I used it I noticed it was a much more comfortable angle to use my laptop. I considered buying one with a USB fan for even more cooling power, but I could tell it would be too big to be comfortable. In addition, in my opinion, an additional connection of the fan would rob the simplicity. The vents are perfectly positioned for my 15.6 inch laptop and I can tell you it makes work that much cooler. The product was assembled and a small ledge to keep your laptop in place was right inside the small box. I just had to open it from the inside. Super easy, I am very happy with this product!
