Yes, it is very SMALL! Right above the bean jar. But if that's the size you're looking for, it's a good buy. Nice. This is good quality for the price. And it wasn't clear in the product description, but it comes with a roll of garbage bags! I appreciated this as I wasn't sure what size bag I would need for this. They also included an extra piece of locking mechanism I believe just in case the original broke. That's prudent. I've just switched to a special type of cat litter where I only throw out the solids each day. I wanted a small bin for this purpose as I would need to take out the rubbish frequently and using a larger bin for this purpose with larger bin bags would be inefficient. I appreciate the touch lid as it keeps the smell in. This trash can is also perfect for other things like dryer lint, makeup remover wipes, dog poop bags, etc. Or use it as a trash can for your car or desk.
