I love this thread finder tool. It's designed to fit a 3/8" clutch flat. Ratchet head. It's about the size of a spark plug so will naturally fit into the narrow bezels you would normally find on that spark plug. If you have a swivel head extension and use either a short 3/8" ratchet or 1/4" to 3/8". adapter, you can easily work in the tightest of spaces. A few tips: remember to always start the tool by hand and rotate it by hand as much as possible. Depending on your engine configuration, you may need to install pistons in the ATDC to free up clearance and use grease or coolant to collect dirt as it clears. My preferred method is copper EP treatment. see fig.
