I bought one for a friend and kept one for myself. My friend loved it and is looking forward to using the stool when weeding in his garden. I used my stool as a cushion (fully covered) when I had to sit down on the rocky floor and get up again to reach the shelf. It takes persuasion to fully open: I flipped the stool over and placed my feet on the top while pulling up the bottom and twisting a few thrust sections. Now it is fully extended and all sections are well fastened. We both love the light weight and portability.
