Review on Sewing Embroidery Spool 🧡 Nets - Pack of 10 Yards by Shantel Griffin

Absolutely soft, high-quality braided thread!

I am very happy with my purchase! I researched a lot of nets before purchasing as I know some nets are much stiffer than the higher quality ones that came with my sergers. This is a perfectly soft, fine mesh that looks very high quality! While it has some negative reviews, I believe those reviewers expected it to be suitable for smaller sewing machine threads. For those who want net for overlock cones, wool nylon or spools 1000 yards or longer, this is the net! This is a super soft, fine mesh that's perfect for whatever spool size I have! When I first got it I experimented with some of the different sizes of threads I have. It was fine for the smaller 250 yard sewing machine thread (although it was slack), but I definitely found it too slack for the smallest 110 yard spool. The largest I have is a giant 8500 yard wool nylon (measuring 4 inches wide by 7 inches high) and it fits my 2000 yard, 3000 yard and shorter 1000 yard cones very well . I love that you can crop it! I will post pictures to show the results. To be able to use it on the car and to avoid tangling when tying, I cut it exactly to the length of the spool and then pulled it up about an inch from the top for threading. Part under the spool to keep it from slipping off when tying. It also leaves some space at the top for the thread to easily insert into the thread tree. This trellis also saves time as I can leave them on cones for storage. Otherwise, I found that every time I changed colors, I found it difficult to keep streaming the few that came with my machines. I'm so glad I found this mesh and will definitely be back when it's done! Hope that helps!
