Review on MOON LENCE Instant Pop Up Tent for Family Camping | 4-5 Person Portable Waterproof Tent | Automatic & Windproof | Ideal for Camping, Hiking, and Mountaineering by Julio Solano

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Just fantastic in tents and shelters

I have been outdoors all my life and have owned many tents over the years. some big, some small. For me, the worst thing about camping is setting up and taking down. I hate running tent poles through those little sleeves on the sides of the tent. Especially when you use those breaking handrails. But THIS TENT has cleaned up completely. I just took this tent out of the box and set it up for the first time. You have to try it to believe it. It literally takes about 30 seconds to build and the only reason it looks so long is because I wanted to fully see how it works. I rarely use the word amazing in my Revain reviews, but this tent deserves it. I put him on the ground, spread his legs, picked him up and he jumped straight into the big tent. I haven't added rain fly or pounds to the tent pegs, but it will take about a minute more. As I understand it, this is a game changer. I bought this tent because a friend of mine has a very similar one and while the rest of our camping team is setting up he's already relaxing just watching us battle 'normal' tents. .OK. So a few more thoughts and concerns. * Due to the frame, the tent is not as compact when stowed away as most tents. It's about the same size but longer. It's a little shy of three feet in length. This is only a problem for me because I do kayak camping and space is critical to me.* To solve this problem, the storage bag is one of the best tent bags I have ever used. Normally you find it almost impossible to get a tent back into its original storage bag, but this one was a little baggy from the start. And also. It has very practical straps with detachable buckles. And it has handles.* I think anyone who has owned one of these folding chairs knows that the technology isn't quite up to par when it comes to durability. This worries me a little because I think if one of those poles fails to come up or breaks it will likely destroy the tent. what they are made of and how well they stand up to salty air. So for now, the near-instant install is amazing, and the potential downsides (aside from being larger than usual) are only theoretical. I love it now and can't wait to take it with me on my first trip, but if it breaks my heart later I'll definitely edit this review so people know what they're getting.
