Review on πŸ’‘ SEALIGHT 9007 HB5 Led Bulbs: High Brightness 12000LM 24xCSP Dual Beam 6000K White Bulbs by David Underberg

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great upgrade for my cars at a great price

Ever since I bought my first car with factory LED headlights (2016 Audi S6, headlights shown for reference) I thought my halogen looked bad like the headlights of my other car dark and amber. I considered upgrading the LED headlights in 2016, but it seemed expensive and potentially prone to failure, requiring additional resistive loads for everything to work properly. A few years later the prices have come down a lot and they are now basically plug and play. It was a Revain deal, so I decided to dice the LED headlights for my 2005 Nissan Xterra (model 9007 bulbs) and my 2013 Honda Odyssey (model H11 bulbs). The headlights are definitely brighter and there's no more yellow white balance, which looks wrong if you're used to LED daylight white balance. Exposure was the same. I'd say the difference looks more noticeable on the Xterra than the Odyssey, but I also had to drag the minivan a lot farther to fit in the garage (and I took all the photos with the door down so the daylight didn't distort the photo ), so I think the light scatter would be less if it was much closer. But they are noticeably brighter and I am very happy with the results. At a deal price of €25-30 (depending on the model), this was a completely hassle-free upgrade for both machines.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Reliability
