Cheap and ugly, but it suits me

The key term is "wood look". This is a cheap plastic laminate, very light but sturdy table. Gathering was easy. I sat on the part where the legs support the top and it didn't break, I weigh about 155 pounds. I wouldn't put heavy weights on it because it's cheap and will tip over easily, I just did it as a test. I wouldn't buy it for home use because it looks cheap. I use it in my office (standalone) next to my chair (yes chair, better for my back) to hold drinks or papers while working on my laptop. I don't have customers in my office because I have a conference room. Although the desk is cheap and ugly, it serves its purpose so it's ok. While this may work for me, it may not work for you. I think the quality will vary a lot because it's so cheap you can see in the first picture it has these weird markings (straight out of the box) rather than the scratches on the top "wood look" more looks like poor workmanship but i'm too lazy to disassemble and send back. Also, it's a lot lighter than it looks in the picture. When assembling, you must tighten the screws securely to prevent them from sticking out and creating an uneven surface that will scratch the hard floor or catch the carpet. Check the two photos where it still sticks out when tightened and then slid by properly turning the supplied Allen key.

Pros
  • Finish: black metal, reclaimed wood paint
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
