It's very light as you would expect. Glide is smooth as it should be. The legs fold down and you can adjust them in two different ways to suit the surface you are on. The quickest way is to just move your feet until they are all touching the surface. If for some reason that doesn't work, you can also increase the effective length of each leg by unscrewing and lengthening the rubber portion of each leg. It's just okay. I wish it had a small zipped pocket for the included hex keys and thread adapter, but that's not a problem. It has 1/4" and 3/8" holes on a fixed bottom center plate and a pair on each end. The bottom center panel can be attached to the horizontal slide rack and the ends can be attached to the vertical slide rack. If you have a ball head on a tripod, there are many intermediate angles to try. I just need to practice gliding so it's very consistent. This is the only downside to using manual sliders. It packs away easily so you can take it almost anywhere to add a little pizzazz to your videos.
