This is an adorable and well-made Accsa dinosaur hat, but I’m wondering why the manufacturer recommends dry cleaning (it’s 100% polyester) and an older age range (6-14 yrs). I specifically got it for a four year old who has trouble losing and putting on mittens—this is a good alternative and the cozy hat fits perfectly. It also fits our six year old, but he thinks it looks too babyish, and wants nothing to do with it. I suspect most kids this age and beyond will likely feel the same way.The pocket paw mittens aren’t very practical for outdoor winter wear or play, but they do come in handy when we have errands to run, time is limited and a quick hand warm-up is appreciated. I usually find lots of treasures inside the pockets too, but that goes with the territory of kids. We haven’t washed the hat yet, but when that becomes necessary, I see no reason why it couldn’t go through a gentle wash cycle. The hat is very well made and soft—the four year old wears it indoors and out.
