I use a gel pad. I liked it but not for long. After about 18 months, gel began to leak from the seam and formed a sticky mass. I've never tried memory foam, but I wanted to try it. There's not much indentation in the center - barely noticeable - but when I use it, it fits my wrist. The cool thing is that you can have it work in the center or on the side depending on the angle. Time will tell how well it holds up, but at least it won't leak on me. Note: The non-slip side is not as sticky as previous pads. Be sure to clean the table surface for a better grip.
