These shorts have a great length and are very cute. They cover my 50+ hips and are lightweight and flattering. The waist and tags were very scratchy but when I ripped off the tags it really wasn't that bad. I loved these shorts out of the bag and when I first put them on. I teach swimming lessons so they get a good wet/dry/wet test throughout the day both in and out of the water. The lining in the shorts is not very thick for swimming but comfortable when dry. As you can see from the picture the lining is a little wrinkled around the edges when wet and the material is thin enough to really see through. It's not cute. I would say the shorts look great when dry or maybe even tucked into gym shorts or running shorts, but they really aren't as good as briefs. If you order these and plan on getting wet I would definitely order a darker color.
