Review on Portable Monitor KOGODA Travel Speakers 15.6", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, High Dynamic Range, Z1-5S, HDMI by Ronald Martin

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great picture quality but no longer works UPDATE

I've had this monitor for a little less than two weeks. At first I was impressed - it was easy to use, easy to connect and play, and the picture quality was way better than I expected for the price. It was perfect for my needs. Then one morning he decided to quit work. I tried different cables as well as different devices and the result is the same - the light changes from red to green and there is even sound coming out of the speakers but no picture. The Kogoda logo doesn't light up and I don't even get device notifications (no input, etc.). It's annoying because I really wanted to like this device. The only good thing is that it happened while I was still within the return period. I know you get what you pay for, which is why I was surprised at the overall quality of the device (which is why I give it 2 stars). not 1), but not working at all makes the whole quality questionable. I'm planning on exchanging it for a new one as it seems like I just got a lemon due to all the very positive reviews and lack of criticism with the same issue I'm having. Depending on how things go (although it annoys me that I have to send this one back and wait for a replacement), I'll come back and update. UPDATE: Six months later, the monitor is still working with no issues. Picture quality is excellent and now that I'm traveling again this is a great little monitor for on the go. I received my first replacement in just a few days and have been very happy with it ever since. I think the first one I got was really just an anomaly so I would definitely recommend this product.
