I bought this jacket just in time - the day after I received this jacket we had a snowstorm. I wore it outside several times to walk my dogs and didn't feel cold at all while my feet were cold from wearing only jeans. I ordered this jacket a size up to wear with hoodies and jackets underneath, but I don't think I'll ever need it in terms of warmth - this jacket is warm enough on its own. At first I was worried that it would be too hard, stiff and heavy, but after wearing it for a while and breaking it, it became perfect. And it's so comfortable that I hate taking it off when I go in, but it gets too hot in the room. I love all the bags too! It has two hand pockets, each with a vertical pocket above and a left inner breast pocket. You can also tighten the waist so it doesn't look so big, chunky, and masculine. Personally, I don't care if the jacket is a bit bulky and masculine, but if that bothers you, I'd probably recommend a different jacket.
