Review on Comfortable And Stylish Joob Joob Women'S Flowy Boho Pants For Yoga And Everyday Wear by David Royles

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Zero Stretch in the Fabric; Needs a Crotch Gusset

I wanted something more vivid than my mostly black piles of leggings and yoga pants. These boho pants are really lovely and stay up quite securely. They also are plenty opaque. I can't 5-star them, however, because of a few issues:They are a little too short (I have very long legs, they are most of my 5'7" height). So they are great with sandals but look odd over sneakers. The fabric has no give in it at all. This wouldn't matter if there was a crotch gusset. Without the gusset, moving my leg forward binds the fabric across my thigh and presses the crotch seam in tightly. Back in my costuming days, I never made pants of this style without a gusset. The hip area smocking gives really good stretch up there, and is why these stay up so well without binding. But there is a seam in all that fairly low down that keeps me subconsciously feeling my undies are slipping down because it presses below their top line. This tenses me up and can cause sciatic flaring. This is entirely subjective to me; most wearers probably won't care.
