Review on Parabolic Quick Setup Quick Folding Diffuser Carrying by John Ruelas

This softbox is very good for controlling and focusing a light source but the connections are a little tight and no installation and removal instructions were supplied. The set includes two cases for the diffuser, the softbox itself, a travel bag and a cloth. This is very travel friendly as it can be disassembled and installed with minimal effort and the poles hold the structure of the softbox very well. To install it the first time, I had to follow the instructions in this list. You have to pull each joint up until it snaps into place, but without knowing that, I was afraid I'd bend it. However, once I knew how to set it up, it became easy. It takes some effort to pull each bar out so it's not as smooth as I expected, but it still works well and stays in place after it's fixed. This feature makes it easy to disassemble and install when traveling, which is very useful in the world of portrait photography. Again, disassembly was a bit tough. I've found it's a lot easier if I lift the stem up slightly before hitting the button. I don't know if this is related to the condition of the softbox I received as you can see from my photos that the metal needs some lubrication. Overall this is a great softbox; It's durable, controls your light very well, breaks down and installs with minimal issues and drives very well. There are adapters you can buy to attach to your flash. I definitely recommend it.
