This small bag can be carried as a clutch, wrapped around the wrist as a bracelet or slung over the shoulder as a crossbody thanks to the many straps. Nevertheless, I would not call this bag a real shoulder bag. I would categorize it as a cross body bracelet as the size of the bracelet is more like a double size bracelet. While it's technically a shoulder bag, the size doesn't seem accurate to the name. However, this is another high quality bag from Vera Bradley. It's very funny that they've released a clothing line with the Collegiate logo, especially since Vera Bradley is so high quality you know you'll be able to wear it long into your senior years. In fact, the bag has a built-in wallet and another spacious compartment for a phone and other small items. You can't keep anything too thick or too big (that's why this item is classified as a bracelet) and that's why I find the price of $80 a bit high. For that I give one star for the value. However, this bag will most likely last you forever. Vera Bradley uses such high quality, durable fabrics and this bag is no exception. The seams appear to be very strong. The hardware is high quality and durable. It differs greatly from other bracelets you can buy in terms of quality - it will last longer than anything you buy at a student bookstore. Because it's durable, beautiful, and thoughtfully designed, like all Vera Bradleys, I think it definitely deserves a four for quality.
