Review on Wireless headphones JBL Tune 700BT, black by Wiktor Wiater ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I like it, thank you for the quality product.

Generally. a very good option for my money, but they didn’t suit me because the Lenovo laptop is equipped with an Intel AC 8260 wireless adapter, and, as it turned out, JBL is not friendly with it. I don’t know which side the problem is, JBL or Intel, or both sides, but it turned out to be impossible to use the headphones as a headset, which I had planned. When switching headphones to Windows 10 from Stereo to Hands-free mode, the sound breaks, only hisses, squeaks and crunches are heard. The problem is not an isolated one, judging by the forms, but, apparently, for the majority it is not as critical as for me. Moreover, other headsets work fine on the laptop, JBL on the phone and another laptop also produces normal sound. But I don’t want to change my laptop yet, so I had to change the headphones.

Pros
  • - Different colors (I didn't really want black ones, I took blue ones for a change) - Sound quality is good for the price - Operating time is close to the advertised 27 hours
Cons
  • - The main disadvantage is that it does not work well in conjunction with a Lenovo T460s laptop with an Intel AC 8260 BT adapter. More details in the comments. - Plastics and build quality are generally pretty average. There is a sense of cheapness - A strong smell of plastic lingered for a week - Bluetooth 4.2, would like 5.0 - No aptX codec
