I liked the look of the lamp and it matched my white desk. I liked that there were multiple lighting modes like cool or warm light, three dimming levels for the brightness, and the fact that it's portable/wireless - but even the brightest mode isn't very bright. Not sure if it's the light or the size of the lamp. I bought it to brighten the area on my desk at night so it can compensate for the bright screens I have and also make it easier for the camera to recognize the face. While it's cute and I'll keep it for myself, it's not very suitable for any of the uses I bought it for.
