I actually bought this product as a facial cleanser for myself. I am 55 years old with very problematic skin that is TOO sensitive to the harsh chemicals in my makeup. The product is very gentle on the skin and cleans things up. What surprised me is that usually organic soap or shampoo is not very soapy and seems to "dry" during use. Not this one. I really like it and will be using this line of products again.
