All three of our kittens love this innovative and artistically designed cat tower! It comes in an amazingly small box for a cat of this size. There are many parts and it took both of us over two hours to assemble - that's 4 man hours to assemble. very logical and simple. But we still disassembled it and put it back together towards the end too. There are tiny, tiny, tiny arrows in the instructions to show which way the connectors connect. Even after we decrypted, we were still wrong on some counts. It's amazing how many different orientations a 4-way connection can have. A piece of advice: don't stop halfway and don't think you'll come back to finish it. Keep going until you're done. When everyone is together, it is strong and beautiful. In the photos I've included, you can see a very happy orange cat in the tower's hammock - it's a 22-pound kitten, and the design supports its weight well. It's a really smart design with feline aspects throughout. The hammock was the #1 favorite, followed by the hanging toy. They also like tunnels between different sections. That it comes with beds - and it's all washable - is great. Maybe a bit pricey and a building challenge, but it's worth it! The cat landed on it! So I go along with the advice to retighten (or tape if you don't plan on taking it apart again) the connections from time to time and check some velcro connections. Added August 31, 2016: Just a small curved detail below. The front has had trouble collapsing, and that's because it's not supported from below. The main part of the structure is strong and durable. The dark gray fabric exposed to the sun quickly faded to beige.
