Mount a 65 " Samsung QLED with this mount

The requirement to be 470mm from the corner meant I had to find cleats in that area. As I couldn't find any studs within the length of the bracket beyond 470mm from the corners and I don't trust the supplied plastic drywall inserts I found my wall studs and installed boards to those which then secured the bracket to the boards. The 470mm offset in the instructions is required when installing a 65" TV. The sides of the TV will fit any wall when finally installed. The brackets on the back of the TV attach separately, then the TV hangs from the top of the bracket and is secured with two set screws. You will need a bubble level to ensure everything is level before mounting your TV and again after you have installed it. You only get +/- 3 degrees for gaming. Note 1: Forget the hex/lag screws that come with the kit and buy SPAX 4 x 1/4 screws for the studs. Two per board (depending on if your walls have studs like mine) and a bracket that's enough to hang them (but not because you'll break the bracket). Note 2 (suggestion): If you have a top cabinet with a TV mounted on top of the cabinet, measure the center of the TV mounting points, divide by 2, mark that spot on the TV, then measure from the floor to the cabinet and from the cabinet to you marks your place. Add height for something like a soundbar. Use this measured height of the center of the bracket on the wall to determine how high you need to mount the bracket to be the center of the TV mounting point. - Assuming the mounting points on the TV are centered on the back of the TV.

Pros
  • Compatible mount type: This TV mount can be mounted on wooden studs, concrete walls and brick walls. Suitable for studs up to 24" apart, not just for drywall.
Cons
  • Crumpled
