I've been using rechargeable batteries for about 20 years. I also had several USB chargers. The last one was Bonai 8 which I paid about $10 for. After a few years a few bays started to fail leaving me with 6. Not enough as I charged all my batteries (40+) at once every 4-5 months. So I went for a model with 16 slots and a couple of 9V connections. It was three times the price of the 8 disc, which I found odd until I started using it. The 16 bay was AC powered rather than USB. You charge in half the time. When charging, you actually feel the heat of the batteries, which is not the case with USB models. In addition, the 16-slot model has separate displays that show the charge level. USB only has red and green light. To be fair, USB chargers work well, but if you use rechargeable batteries a lot, this is the model to check out. It's like day and night! I am attaching a photo of 8-bay USB and 16-bay models,
