My God! This sweater makes a big impression. I explained what an "ugly Christmas sweater" is to my kids and one of them liked the idea. We went to Amazon to find what he liked and of course there was plenty to choose from. This one caught our attention because it's less 'ugly' and more COOL. Yes, Batman's touches are awesome and the cityscape envelops the sweater. For a boy or young adult, this whole design balances the absurdity of ugly Christmas sweaters, but with good taste and the added "cool" factor. When the sweater arrived it was a bit big, but not bad. Then, to my surprise, I realized that he was LIGHT. No, not a signal in the sky (reindeer signal), but colored lights all over the city below. Inside the belt is a small compartment with a switch. This pissed my young man off; The sweater undoubtedly added an extra layer of splendor and cool. All in all I can recommend the sweater. I'm deducting half a star because it's too big and another half star because it's not practical. How do you wash a sweater with lightbulbs sewn in? I have no idea. Let's hope he doesn't spill a drop on it. However, I think your kid will love this sweater, especially if they are a Batman fan or want to have their own awesome 'ugly' Christmas sweater.
