I bought a new one, just saying Huge TV. I plugged it into my ROKU device and it started this dimming and turning back on process. It really is a tribute to television. (It still worked despite my ignorance). HDMI seems to have evolved along with TV technology. To get picture quality on these TVs you NEED HDMI 2.1. Problem solved. I ordered it in the morning after discovering the problem. Revane delivered it in the afternoon. High five boys! Yes, a quality product. yes good value for money. Yes, the image quality is unmatched by ALL previous technologies. PS TV worked great when connected to my router via WIFI. I just prefer to use my ROCU.
