Everything looks solid, but then I realize it's a glass bottom. It's more of a mental thing than anything. The HP 30 inch monitor I use it with weighs 21 pounds. He holds it and stays in place. Panning from left to right feels a bit too "smooth" like me or someone hitting the table, it could scroll a bit but overall it holds up really well. The arm of the stand is made of solid, high-quality metal, and the mounting bracket is held in place by hooks, so it doesn't seem like the stand or bracket is a point of failure. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because of the glass bottom. Maybe it's just me, but I wanted it to be a metal base. Overall it does what I want it to do but looking back if there was another stand in the same price range with an all metal composition I would have bought it instead.
